Michele Dunn is an international consultant specializing in executive development and coaching. Her corporate clients include GE, Ford, ExxonMobil, Union Carbide, Pepsico, Merck, Time Warner and SCM. She has extensive experience in the US, Europe, Asia, Australia, Central and South America. Michele has depth of experience in curriculum development, custom program design and instruction. Her design and instruction repertoire include seminars on strategic thinking, innovation, leadership, emotional intelligence, influence, negotiating, conflict management and the cultural integration of mergers and acquisitions.
Michele’s current emphasis is on executive coaching and she works one on one with high level executives to refine their leadership approach. With her extensive global experience, Michele understands the context of business and the challenges faced by the people in them. She has the unique ability to connect with her clients so they feel comfortable, challenged and changed in ways that they had not anticipated.
At GE, Michele is a “Master Instructor” with Crotonville’s executive education faculty since 1986. She was part of the original Work-Out and CAP (Change Acceleration Process) teams and an active leader in the dramatic cultural changes in GE under Jack Welch. She continues to be in the forefront at GE Crotonville and inside many of GE businesses (Aviation, Power & Water, Oil & Gas, Healthcare, Appliances, Capital and GE Corporate). Michele has a reputation for high energy and creativity. She has taught over 10,000 leaders in GE throughout the world and hundreds of recommendations on LinkedIn attest to her special talents.
Before launching her own consulting business, Michele had a successful career as a manager in large global corporations. She has an MBA in Marketing from Pace University, NYC, a BA in Political Science and Business Administration from the State University of New York at Albany, and an AA from Marymount College, Arlington, Virginia. Michele is a widow with four young adult children. She splits her time between Wilton, Connecticut and Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, USA.
