As “Master Instructor”, Michele worked on the original Work-Out and CAP (Change Acceleration Process) teams during the dramatic cultural changes under Jack Welch. Her work continues with the 2013 transformation of Crotonville. She teaches in the Advanced Manager, Managing@GE and Leadership Development Courses and has worked within GE Aviation, Power & Water, Oil & Gas, Appliances, Capital, Healthcare, NBCUniversal, Corporate Environmental, Legal, Medical, and Corporate Audit Staff.
Michele connects and captivates very selective global leadership audiences. She is known for her energy and empathy in the classroom and the creativity in her course designs. Michele has firsthand knowledge of what she teaches and those experiences shape her teaching philosophy and classroom approach. She believes that leaders are made, not born, so she works them hard, but with sensitivity and humor. Her sessions are fun and always focus on improving performance in very practical way.
Michele is as comfortable delivering courses in Rio, Paris, Shanghai or Bangalore as she is in San Francisco, Houston or New York. Her repertoire is extensive and ranges from teaching critical management skills to discussing the anthropological origins of corporate cultures. Michele has taught groups as small as 5 and as large as 500. Her versatility enables her to engage a group of hard driving executives just as well as a group of early career professionals. She can lead a set of strangers or an in-tact team with underlying conflict. She can fluidly communicate to the whole spectrum of corporate personalities including CEOs and wealthy heirs, scientists and statisticians, financial deal makers and supply chain negotiators from across cultures and nationalities, functions and levels.
Michele is a member of National Association of Corporate Directors and served on the board of directors at Easter Seals Coastal Fairfield County Connecticut. She is a member of the National Association of Female Executives, American Society for Training and Development. She has an MBA in Marketing from Pace University, NYC and a BA in Political Science and Business Administration from the State University of New York at Albany. She lives in Wilton, Connecticut.
